Here’s a debut album you really don’t wanna miss. On April 24th, Italian death metal new-comers Hideous Divinity released their first full length record entitled “Obeisance Rising”, via now-legendary extreme metal label, Unique Leader Records.
On Friday, April 20th, female-fronted Los Angeles melodic death metal gem Dreaming Dead independently released their second full length album, entitled “Midnightmares”. Led by former Iron Maidens member and possibly the only woman in metal to ever be halfway worthy of the adjectives ‘brutal’ or ‘beastly’, Elizabeth Schall, This L.A. band is one you definitely need to check out.
It’s been 6 years since death metal aristocrats Spawn of Possession released their now-legendary album, “Noctambulant”. Today, they release their third full-length album and first album on Relapse Records, entitled “Incurso”… and it definitely delivers at least 6 years worth of expectations.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to check out Ohio’s own Skeletonwitch, the band specializes in modern thrash metal(or blackened thrash, if you wanna take the time to make that distinction). Their signature sound combines the speedy side of thrash with the tones and tremolo picked harmonies of black metal, modern shredding and other extreme metal elements infused into straight-forward thrashers and short epics. This month brings us their 4th major release (third for Prosthetic Records) entitled “Forever Abomination”.
I have decided that I am not going to review Hate Eternal’s new release. I had a nice one ready but… for whom?
